What is digital screen hire purchase?
Hire purchase (sometimes called rent to own) lets your business use a commercial digital screen straight away and pay for it in fixed weekly instalments. When the last payment and a $1 buyout are made, the screen is yours.
Who can use hire purchase?
Hire purchase is for businesses and organisations using the screen wholly or mainly for business purposes, such as cafés, shops, offices, gyms, real estate agencies and venues. For personal or one-off event use, weekly hire is the better fit.
How long are the hire purchase terms?
You choose 12, 24 or 36 months. Shorter terms mean higher weekly payments and you own the screen sooner; longer terms keep the weekly cost down.
How much does hire purchase cost per week?
It depends on the screen and the term you choose. We quote a fixed weekly amount, the number of payments and the total payable, all in writing before you sign. For reference, our 55" screens cost from $2,200 to buy outright.
What happens at the end of the term?
Once you have made the final weekly payment and the $1 buyout payment, ownership of the screen passes to you. Until then it remains HoloEd property.
Can I end a hire purchase agreement early?
Yes. Tell us in writing and return the screen. An early-return charge of 25% of the weekly payments remaining in your term applies, as set out in our Terms & Conditions.
Is delivery included?
We deliver across metropolitan Melbourne, including the CBD and inner, northern, eastern, southern and western suburbs, and to regional areas. Screens arrive ready to plug in and use.
Can I change what shows on the screen?
Yes. Add the HoloEd CMS for $15 per screen per week and update menus, promotions, videos and announcements from your phone or computer. Changes appear in minutes.
